Does the recycled cashmere itch?
No. The fibers are sorted and spun in Prato like any others, and the knit comes out soft enough to wear against the skin.
Does it last as long as virgin cashmere?
It lasts, but it pills a little sooner. Reclaimed fiber has already been spun once, so it is shorter than new fiber, and short fibers work their way to the surface faster. A cashmere comb lifts the pills off, and with the right care the scarf stays good for years.
How much does this scarf weigh?
About 4 oz (115 g) — light enough to wear under a coat without bunching up at the collar.
Is there anything to pay when it arrives?
No. The price includes duties, taxes, and shipping, and we ship as the importer of record, so there is nothing to pay the carrier on delivery. It ships from Italy by UPS Express, 3–5 business days.

Hand wash cold, or use the wool or delicate cycle. Don't wring it: press the water out with a towel and dry flat, away from direct heat and sun. A cashmere comb lifts off any pills that form.
